Marvel semi-permanent lashes are excellent for an everyday natural look, for weddings (no worrying about your mascara running!), holidays and special occasions! The Marvel semi-permanent lash procedure starts from £60 for a full set and maintenance is required every 2-4 weeks (different for each client) for maximum durability! Unlike traditional strip lashes or false lashes, Marvel lashes provide a longer lasting and more effective way of extending lashes. The lashes are attached to your own eyelashes with special cosmetic glue, this procedure suits everyone!
A fantastic way to thicken and lengthen lashes in a safe and effective way!

Maintenance

Marvel semi-permanent eye lash extensions can last for 2-3 months with no maintenance but if you want to keep your lashes looking their best we recommend that you have them maintained every 2-4 weeks (different for each client). Our eye lash growth cycle is 6-8 weeks, lashes will inevitably shed with your own eyelashes which is why we do recommend regular maintenance.

How does it work?

The secret to UCW’s guaranteed inch loss with the Classic treatment lies in the unique clay formula and special wrapping techniques used during the treatment.

Developed by Dr Richard Stern after extensive research into beneficial minerals used in spa treatments UCW Classic involves being wrapped in 25-30 bandages that have been soaked in a warm mineral rich clay solution.

It takes less than 45 minutes to be measured and wrapped by your UCW therapist and once wrapped you simply relax and let the bandages sculpt and tone your body while the minerals are absorbed in to your skin and the clay draws out all the toxins to leave you feeling and looking your best!

Unlike other inch loss treatments UCW Classic DOES NOT rely on dehydration to get results. In fact we ENCOURAGE our clients to drink plenty of water to help get the maximum benefits of the treatment and continued inch loss, detox and cleansing.

After your treatment

Universal Contour Wrap Classic carries on working long after you’ve left the salon. After you’ve been wrapped, the special sea clay solution remains in the pores of your skin so the detoxification and tightening process can continue for 3 to 4 days after your wrap to give further inch loss.
After the wrap you should also drink plenty of water to help flush and rid your body of the impurities that have been released during the wrapping process.

The Guarantee

Everyone having their first Classic wrap is entitled to the following guarantee:
That you should lose a minimum of 6” or you will not be charged*.
That you will maintain a loss of at least 6” for a period of 30 days or we will re-wrap you again for FREE.
This is conditional on you following the After Wrap Instructions and not gaining any extra weight (and thereby new inches) for the 30 days after your wrap.
To qualify for this guarantee you have the right to return to the salon on the 30th day after your wrap to be re-measured and weighed if required. This guarantee only applies to clients having a FULL wrap not partial wraps. *The 6” guarantee applies for clients UK dress size 10 and over.

UCW Classic Wrap course

To experience the full benefits of the UCW Classic a course of 3 to 5 wraps is recommended and there should be a minimum of 7-10 days between each wrap. Inch loss is cumulative and the average overall inch loss is around 25” after just 3 treatments.

The master colour programme is an intense journey of training towards becoming a MASTER COLOUR EXPERT.

Wella Professionals Master Colour Programme is the ultimate course to provide the highest achievers in colour with absolutely everything that could ever be needed within the salon to promote colour to the ever demanding clientele.

It is truly holistic, bringing in all the key factors for colouring success from handling and getting more from basic colouring to the most challenging and complicated aspects of colouring and colour correction.

There are 4 stages to the programme:

Stage 1:
This stage is to brush up on all basic colouring techniques and the basic science behind the technical services provide.

Stage 2:
This stage covers all aspects of colour including the science, biology and history to colour. This is no basic colour programme; it is very intense with projects, course work and an exam. The pass rate for this has to be higher than 85% and to be able to continue on to the stage 3 is 90%. At the end of this stage Tina had to work on a model and colour and style hair and do n overall presentation to members of Wella, family and friends! All on stage at the Wella London Studio! Please take a look at the pictures! TINA ACHEIVED A PASS RATE OF 98% AND HAD THE HIGHEST RESULT AND ACHEIVED HER MASTER COLOUR AWARD!

Stage 3:
This stage helps to build and consolidate on the expertise and the experience gained during stage 2. It helps to polish your skills and to learn to analyse hair from an advanced level. During this stage you learn advance colour correction techniques and how to maintain healthy hair. TINA RECIVED HER MASTER COLOUR SPECIALIST TITLE ONCE SHE HAD COMPLETED THIS STAGE!

Stage 4:
THIS STAGE IS BY INVITATION ONLY! Not just anybody can apply for this title and part of the programme. During this stage you learn the chemistry of colour and extreme colour correction, the emotion and psychology of the effects colour has on clients and the legal considerations to do with colour. This is followed by a technical exam where hair has to be coloured to the same colour as a swatch Wella provide you. The hair you have to colour had been coloured already in 4 different sections. One section is jet black, the second section is blonde and damaged, the third is green and brown and the final section Tina coloured was red, orange and yellow including being very damaged. For each section there is an allotted amount of time and the exam is over 4 afternoons. All the hair from each section is marked and has to be the same colour as the swatch, and in good condition. This exam has a high failure rate and was one of the most stressful and testing things Tina has had within her hairdressing career. TINA PASSED HER EXAM WITH A MARK OF 92% AND ACHEIVED THE TITLE AND HONER OF BEING ONE OF ONLY 150 PEOPLE IN THE UK TO BECOME A MASTER COLOUR EXPERT!!

Ruth Miller | Flutist

Tina was approached by a well known freelance photographer – Woody from Still Films, to work with him on a shoot for Ruth’s new album cover and press pictures. Ruth Miller is a classical flute player so Tina and Woody worked together on styling the shoot and the different looks they wanted to create.

The shoot started at sunrise at Whitstable’s new marina and later by the beach. The looks they wanted to achieve were to be natural and fresh, the make up was kept simple and Ruth’s hair was set to achieve a touseled natural wave. After a couple of wardrobe changes that shoot was wrapped up and they then moved onto Hempstead House in Bapchild to shoot some more classical looking photographs.

Tina created a couple of different looks here, the first being still quite simple with the hair and make up and then this was followed by a more glamorous hair-up do and make up, this helped to create one of Tina’s favourite shots of the day!

After quite an intense shoot Tina, Woody and Ruth wanted to try something different and so went to the swimming pool at Hempstead House and proceeded to work in this area even doing some under water shots. Tina put false lashes on Ruth and then painted her lips with a blue tint and then covered Ruth’s lips in silver and blue glitter to reflect the light off of the camera light and water. Some shots were taken with sun glasses on and the result ended with a very Vogue couture look! The hair was greased back to work in the water, this was the first shoot where Tina had worked with water and she was ecstatic with the results!

Ruth and Woody were really pleased with the results and looks Tina helped to create and Ruth said it was nice to try some different styles out instead of the normal looks she does for classical flute playing.
