Tina is the owner and manager of Take 2 and indeed the inspiration behind every part of the business. Not only does Tina manage within the salon, she works as a stylist 5 days a week. She has a loyal client base that has followed her through her 15 year career! Tina is also a WELLA MASTER COLOUR EXPERT (please see our achievements section). Tina is the driving force behind Take 2 and is full of new and fresh ideas, with her highly professional attitude and diverse hair styling she wants to keep the salon moving forward, with regular trips to the London Wella world studios Tina likes to keep ahead of the upcoming trends and fashions. Having done numerous amounts of photo shoots and catwalk hair for shows Tina is confident in bringing her own creativity to each individual client. Tina is an exceptional fashion colorist and hair up designer, her passion for hairdressing is obvious to any client who has Tina cut their hair, she’s always planning ahead for the next look for each of her clients, when Tina is behind the chair colouring and cutting she’s at her happiest! Tina is also in charge of all the in house training, she is an accessor for Mid Kent College and enjoys teaching people all aspects of hairdressing! She feels by training others it keeps her in touch with all aspects of hairdressing skills. Tina is also a Universal Contour therapist and enjoys helping her clients achieve the inch loss they desire and gets more excited than her clients at times with the results! Tina also has another string to her bow in the fact that she is also a makeup artist! She enjoys doing wedding make up and showing clients how to make the right choices for their skin tone, but what Tina really enjoys is when she can be creative with make up for photo shoots either for clients or any competitions that she enters! Now the salon has been open for 5 years Tina feels the time is right to start entering more competitions so is already sourcing models for 2012’s international trend vision award!
Tina is always adding to her list of skills with the latest being Individual Eyelash extensions which she is really enjoying doing, not only because it’s a skill that’s hard to learn and patience is needed but because of the dramatic and subtle effects she can create for each individual client’s needs! Where she finds the time for all of this as well as taking care of the daily running of the salon we will never know!
Emma – Artistic Director

Emma is one of our Artistic Directors here at Take 2 and also a full time member of staff; she takes her role very seriously and is always helping Tina and the team to come up with creative new ideas! Emma has 5 years experience within the industry and has built herself up a fabulous relationship with all of her clients. With her fantastic sense of humor and caring nature Emma is loved by all of our clients, you often catch her having a giggle with not only her clients but all clients to Take 2! Emma is passionate about her career and is always joining in on staff training, or if a member of the team is trying something new you can guarantee Emma is in the vicinity watching and taking notes, putting in her input and getting excited about the results! She constantly challenges herself within her career and is not frightened of thinking outside the box! Emma has been with us since we first opened and is as passionate about Take 2’s progress as Tina! Emma is also a fantastic hair up designer and is always busy helping brides and their bridal party look fabulous on their special day!

Sam has been hairdressing for 11 years and prides herself for her ambition and passion for hairdressing. Having joined Take 2 in March 2011 Sam has found herself looking into the future and where she wants to take her career, this she has decided is to expand her knowledge of hairdressing further and to push her hairdressing skills by entering competition’s and working on photo shoots although her main goal is to build a strong client base! Sam is a bubbly fun and enthusiastic hairdresser who has a positive out look to life which rubs off on everyone she is around!
Michelle – Style Director/Beauty Therapist

Michelle is not only one of our Style Directors here at Take 2 but she is also one of our Beauty Therapists too! Michelle has been with us from the beginning and is a full time member of staff. With 6 years in the industry Michelle’s confidence has grown and so has her client list! She has a friendly approach to all of her customers and takes her time to listen to each individual’s needs. Her ability to produce beautiful easy to manage hairstyles is a winner and her magic hands are fantastic to help clients relax while having all beauty treatments. She has an air of calmness that just puts all of her clients at ease! Michelle also is always updating her skills with hair and beauty training either in house, at the Wella London studios or Dermalogica!
Abbie – Senior Designer

Abbie is Take 2’s Senior Stylist. Abbie joined our team in December 2009 having been trained at a salon near to where she lived. Abbie is qualified to cut and colour both Men and Women’s hair at Take 2. Since joining the team at Take 2 Abbie has not only grown in confidence within hairdressing but she has grown within her own personality too! No longer the shy quiet girl who we all first met! Abbie loves colouring and wants to expand her knowledge particularly in this area of hairdressing. Since joining our team Abbie has grown to realize there is a lot more to hairdressing than meets the eye, especially after attending the Intro to Colour course held here at Take 2! She pushes herself more and more within the industry and with her confidence, with one of her main goals being to build a strong clientele base!

Katrina joined the team at Take 2 in August 2010 after deciding to have a change of career and train as a Hairdresser! Katrina fully qualified and having now spent over a year with us at Take 2 her confidence is growing week by week and her knowledge of the hairdressing world has expanded greatly! Not only does she enjoy her hairdressing Katrina really enjoys interacting with all the clients at Take 2 and having a good old chat, a true hairdresser! Katrina also has a couple of other talents in the fact she is a CND nail technician and is qualified for all waxing treatments! So as well as being able to do your hair she can take care of all your waxing and nail needs! Katrina’s aim for the next year is to keep adding to her knowledge of hairdressing and pushing herself more as well as building her clientele list!

Sarah is the newest member to our hair team here at Take 2! She has already grown in confidence having had a change in her career and re-training as a hairdresser and as soon as she qualified Take 2 was her chosen place to expand her knowledge and start her career! And not only is she a fantastic budding stylist she also is a make-up artist and is qualified to do all waxing treatments! Sarah is already participating in all the in house training at Take 2 and is keen to add on to her NVQ 2 qualification in hairdressing with as many courses as possible! Sarah has a friendly bubbly personality and we are sure she is going to be a hit with all of Take 2’s customers!
Jayne – CND Master Nail Technician and Beauty Therapist

Jane is a newly recruited and highly successful member of our team who highly respected within her field. As a fully established beauty therapist/nail artist, she has already 10 very successful years of experience under her belt, and her outstanding contribution within the salon has added such great value to the Take 2 team. Jane’s natural empathy with the clients and innovative drive has given her such a great following within the industry. She is a totally committed senior consultant and has a great understanding of the work ethic and our salon ethos. Jane graduated to the top at Master Level within the nail industry and has studied various NVQ levels within the nail and beauty business. Having worked with some of the top nail artists in the country and various beauty therapists, she has been actively involved in many promotional campaigns including, London Fashion Week and has participated in various advertising events in some of the top London fashion houses. She is also known for participating in charitable events such as Sports Boutique in London. Jane’s proven success is due to her understanding of client needs and providing treatments that are suited to their personality/image and lifestyle. This is often reflected in Jane’s creativity and constant drive, resulting in the high demand for her knowledge and expertise.
Emily – CND Master Nail Technician

Emily is a trained CND Master Nail technician and has been trained with CND since 2005, before this she trained with the Academy School of Excellence! Emily is a friendly, hard- working individual who thrives on making and keeping her clients nails looking fantastic and also ensuring her clients are always happy with the results! She likes to push the boundaries of nail art and is always thinking outside the box! Emily was placed 4th at London Excels 2007 pink and white and sculpting nail class! And she is keen to compete again after a break from the competition circuit! So if you fancy something different Emily’s your girl!
Donna – Beauty Therapist & Nail Technician

Donna is one of our beauty therapists and nail technicians here at Take 2. Since we opened Take 2 we have searched for a beauty therapist who is passionate and dedicated to providing the best treatments to every client that book in with them. Beauty can be a very personal thing for an individual and Donna strives to help her clients feel at ease with her throughout their treatments. Donna has 6 years’ experience working with a range of client’s needs within a salon environment, throughout her 6 years of working as a beauty therapist and nail technician Donna has expanded her knowledge and range of treatments that she can offer all of her clients, she is a very professional individual who has a friendly and bubbly personality and enjoys her work whether this is on a one to one basis or getting bridal parties ready for their big day or working as part of a team here at Take 2. Donna is a creative nail technician and has attended many courses with Dermalogica and also is trained to do Mama Mio maternity massages, and this is something that she really enjoys doing!
Jasmine: Apprentice

Jasmine is Tina’s first apprentice after a break from training, she joined the team in June 2011 and you’d think from her cheeky quick witted ways with the girls she had been here from the start! ‘Jazz’ as everyone calls her is training towards her NVQ level 2 hairdressing with Tina and is already showing great promise at being a confident young stylist here at Take 2! Jazz is also training to be a CND nail technician and has just achieved her certificate in CND Spa Manicure and Pedicure treatments, Minx for hands and feet and Shellac manicures and pedicures! Jazz is looking to build a clientele for hand and foot care on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. She has a positive outlook and knows where she wants to be in the future which at the moment is a mini Tina! With ambitions of also learning to do spray tans and eyelash extensions to her list of ambitions Tina better watch her job!
